What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files that a website may store on your device (computer, phone or tablet) when you visit it. They allow the site to "remember" information about your visit, such as your preferences or authentication state.
Alongside cookies, sites may also use similar technologies such as browser localStorage and sessionStorage, which serve an equivalent function.
MS Solutions' policy on cookies
MS Solutions E.A.S. maintains a minimalist policy: we use only technologies strictly necessary for the site to work and to protect it against automated attacks. We do not use advertising, profiling or third-party tracking cookies for marketing purposes.
Technologies we use directly
| Name | Type | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|
mss_lang |
localStorage | Remember the chosen language (ES / PT / EN) between visits. | Until the user removes it |
The value stored in mss_lang is exclusively one of three textual codes: es, pt or en. It does not contain personally identifiable information.
Third-party cookies and data
The site is protected by Cloudflare, which uses the following technical cookies in line with security best practices:
| Name | Provider | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|
__cf_bm |
Cloudflare | Distinguish humans from automated bots (Bot Management). | 30 minutes |
cf_clearance |
Cloudflare | Validate clearance of an anti-DDoS or anti-bot challenge. | 30 minutes to 1 hour |
These cookies are strictly necessary for site security and do not require prior consent under European practice (GDPR, art. 6(1)(f) — legitimate interest) and Paraguayan data-processing guidelines tied to service security.
External services
If you interact with external services linked from our site (LinkedIn, GitHub), the cookie policies of those third parties will apply. We have no control over cookies they may install.
How to manage your cookies
You can control and delete cookies and local storage from your browser settings:
- Chrome: Settings → Privacy and security → Cookies and other site data.
- Firefox: Settings → Privacy & Security → Cookies and Site Data.
- Safari: Preferences → Privacy → Manage Website Data.
- Edge: Settings → Cookies and site permissions → Cookies and stored data.
Deleting mss_lang will cause the site to detect your language automatically on the next visit. Deleting Cloudflare cookies may cause you to encounter more anti-bot checks, but will not affect your access to content.
Consent
Since MS Solutions does not use analytics, advertising or profiling cookies, and the technologies we do use are strictly necessary for site operation and security, we do not display a cookie consent banner.
Use of the site implies acceptance of the indispensable technical cookies described in this Policy.
Changes to this Policy
We may update this Cookies Policy to reflect changes in the technologies used or in applicable law. The "last updated" date at the top of the document indicates the current version.
